From an RV Show to a Life on the Road: The Story of Brian & Lisa Pitts

It all started at an RV show—glamorous, right? Brian and Lisa still joke that after 24 years together, they should have come up with a more exciting story! For nearly a decade, they had unknowingly worked in the same industry, traveling to motorhome shows from California to Maine to Florida, yet their paths had never crossed. That all changed when Brian left his sales job with a Prevost converter in Oklahoma and took a position at a dealership in Dallas. Lisa, then a Vice President for Deutsche Bank in the RV and Marine business, was visiting her dealers at the Dallas RV Show—and there he was. If you believe in love at first sight across a crowded showroom floor, this was it!

Fast Forward, they were married, had a baby, and Brian was recruited by Karl Blade, then owner of Newell Coach, to join the team. That moment launched a 23+ year career selling Newell motorhomes in Miami, Oklahoma. Meanwhile, Lisa transitioned from corporate banking to working directly with customers, helping them secure financing for their dream coaches.

Today, Brian and Lisa are fortunate to share careers that take them across the country, selling and financing motorhomes while living the very lifestyle they promote. Spending winters in Florida and traveling to premier motorhome resorts throughout the year, they don’t just sell Newells—they live the Newell experience. As passionate motorhome and boating enthusiasts, you’ll often find them at the resorts, in a Newell Coach, enjoying the motorcoach lifestyle (and, of course, plenty of pickleball) alongside their friends and customers. Their journey isn’t just about selling coaches; it’s about building relationships, sharing experiences, and helping others turn their own motorhome dreams into reality.

SALES

Brian Pitts – Newell Coach Sales Expert

Brian Pitts’ decades-long career in the luxury motorhome industry began in the most humble of ways—behind the wheel of an old Craftsman riding mower. In 1991, fresh off a dairy farm and still in his teens, Brian took a grounds maintenance job at Vogue Coach in Pryor, Oklahoma, mowing 15 acres, clearing ditches, and picking up highway trash. He even swept the entire 90,000-square-foot facility weekly. But Brian’s strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative quickly steered him toward much bigger opportunities.

One day, the factory owner asked, “Will you help us unload this semi full of parts, son?” What started as a simple favor turned into a game-changer. Seeing the inefficiencies of scattered parts across the factory floor, Brian organized the inventory, built shelves, and effectively created the factory’s first parts department. That drive to improve processes, take ownership, and create solutions became a hallmark of Brian’s career.

As he continued working at Vogue, Brian moved from grounds maintenance to the service department, learning luxury motorhomes from the inside out. For a farm kid used to milking cows and mucking stalls, working on motorhomes felt like a dream. His hands-on knowledge became a key advantage when he transitioned into sales, eventually thriving in Vogue’s sales department through its ownership change to Featherlite Prevost. Brian even did a stint with a Dallas dealership representing top Prevost converters—giving him insight from both the factory and dealer sides of the business.

In 2002, Karl Blade recruited Brian back to Oklahoma to join Newell Coach—a brand Brian always considered the pinnacle of the industry. The chance to represent Newell, combined with a return to life “north of the Red River,” was an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

Today, with decades of experience selling both Newell Coaches and Prevosts, Brian offers unmatched expertise in guiding customers through every aspect of luxury motorhome ownership—from comparison shopping to custom design and build. His passion for these machines and the people who create them shines through in everything he does.

Brian shares his deep industry knowledge and love for motorhomes on this website, www.NewellSales.com, and his popular YouTube channel, where he produces in-depth tours, showcases custom builds, and offers insights for luxury coach enthusiasts. His work helps customers not only imagine their dream motorhome but bring it to life.

When he’s not on the road or in a coach, Brian enjoys life on Grand Lake of the Cherokees with his wife, Lisa, and their family—soaking up time on the lake, around the pool, and with friends. Follow Brian and Lisa on their motorhome adventures as they share their passion for luxury travel and the extraordinary lifestyle that comes with owning a Newell.
